Recently, a Canadian electroplating company placed an order for two customized spiral PTFE heaters with DN flange fasteners from our company. Based on the detailed application requirements and technical information provided by the customer, our engineering team designed and manufactured a customized PTFE heating solution to meet the specific needs of their corrosive environment.
The customized heaters are designed with a power specification of 240V, 2-phase, 1200W and will be used for heating sulfuric acid solution in an electroplating process. The heating system is required to raise the solution temperature to approximately 55℃, while maintaining stable and reliable performance under highly corrosive operating conditions. The use of PTFE material provides excellent chemical resistance, helping ensure a longer service life and safer operation compared with conventional heating materials.
To further enhance product safety and reliability, we will equip the heating system with thermocouples, temperature control boxes, and liquid level protection sensors. These additional safety components allow customers to monitor and control the operating temperature accurately, while preventing potential damage caused by overheating or operation under insufficient liquid levels.
This successful cooperation marks our first project with this Canadian customer.
