They are very resistant to corrosion from strong acids (like sulphuric, hydrochloric, nitric, and hydrofluoric acids under controlled conditions), alkalis, and other harsh chemicals.
These immersion heaters are safe to use in solutions with a pH range of 0 to 13 and temperatures up to 100°C (212°F). They won't leak, scale, or break down. The PTFE surface that doesn't attach to anything keeps buildup to a minimum, which keeps heat transfer consistent and extends the life of the device.
